Founded in 1976, the Original Doll Artists Council of America is an international organization of artists who create original dolls and figurative sculpture.

ODACA is dedicated to the goals of promoting original doll artists and their work, achieving and maintaining a high quality of original doll art, and educating collectors and the public about the art of the doll and doll crafting.

ODACA promotes and encourages the work of emerging and established doll artists through artist's workshops, sponsored educational and social events, exhibitions, and doll conventions.

Today ODACA stands for high quality in expressive doll art and member artists must demonstrate a high level of proficience in their work.
