ODACA Day 1999
Washington, D.C.

New Artists for 1999

oday10

Robin Foley, Michele O'Neil, Randi Taylor, Jane Carlson

The theme of 1999 Luncheon was "The Bounty of the Nile" and was held in Washington DC at the Hilton Washington & Towers Hotel. The souvenir doll, "Cleopatra", is by ODACA artist Kathryn Williams Kluhsman. Unfortunately Kathryn Williams Kluhsman passed away in 1999. Many tears fell as we unwrapped our ODACA souvenirs knowing this was Kathy's last doll.

Four new Artist members were invited to join and welcomed into ODACA during the luncheon: Jane Carlson, cloth, Randi Taylor, polymer, Michele O'Neil, polymer, and Robin Foley, cloth. Congratulations to all of them.

There were many dolls and doll related items offered in the Helper Raffle. The lucky winners were chosen near the close of the luncheon. Many of the ODACA artists participated in the ODACA Day Show, which had a great variety of contemporary doll art available for purchase at this once a year sale.
