After the final cure and cleaning (with soft scrub) I usually give my figures (but not the babies) a wash of water based foundation. I have it in several different colors. I also use the real dark shades for different nationalities. I let it air dry (between coats if I use more then one), then paint the features and then blush with china paints mixed with mineral oil. After, I set everything for 10 minutes in the convection oven.
