My name is Myra Sherrod and I have more than 25 years' experience in professional dollmaking, working in several mediums. I am an artist member of The Academy of American Doll Artists, International Doll Makers Association, The National Polymer Clay Guild, United Federation of Doll Clubs, and The Original Doll Artists Council of America, of which membership is gained by invitation only, and solely through a rigorous jurying process.

Direct-sculpting in polymer clay, I create original artist dolls. My particular specialty is portrait work, as the photos on the odaca.org website indicate. Each piece is custom-designed and entirely my work. In addition to the doll itself, I draft all patterns; make and style all wigs from human hair or natural fibers; and hand-make all shoes, costumes and accessories.
