Bio

My childhood was a collection of experiences that opened my eyes and expanded my desire to be creative while nurturing a deep love for handcrafted items.

As I grew older, my passion for creativity helped me to become a graphic designer, allowing me to further express my artistic abilities. My zeal for color is what I enjoy the most because it brings everything to life. Having tried many different art forms and never finding a medium that satisfies all my art passion at once, I stumbled upon a polymer clay figurine. After purchasing my first bar of clay, I worked feverishly to sculpt my first piece.

My works have evolved and this is the one true art form that really allows me to be creative with my hands and match colors. I truly love creating art dolls and fantasy figurines as my creations are limitless and boundless to the creativity of my imagination.

As a self-taught artist, I spent my first year learning the fundamentals of sculpting. During my second year, I attended the 2008 IDEX show in Florida as well as the EXPO event in Washington.

The response that I received was flattering from admirers and collectors. Since then, my work has been published in Dolls, Doll Crafters and Costuming, The Crafts Report and Doll Collector magazines. I continue to create and improve all aspects of my doll craft and strive to share knowledge with the many others who enjoy this form of art as I do.

Artist Statement

Figurative Art is a way that I can use a multitude of talents to create a single unique item. Creating Art Dolls allows me to learn and experiment with various art techniques without any boundaries. The artistic appeal of my art is intended to invoke or inspire a thought, feeling or relate a state of being to the person viewing it.
