In Memoriam (1948-2007)
Elizabeth Jenkins' costume designs appeared on the stages of live theatres across the country. She also fabricated props for the Metropolitan Opera and American Ballet Theatre and created retail displays for the Rolex Watch Company and department stores.

Elizabeth primarily created her dolls in paper clay. In 1999, she won the Best of Show for her entry in her first doll competition and the following month, she won the Robert McKinley Award at the Santa Fe Doll Art Show. Her dolls were shown at such shows as "Gathering of Excellence", "Artists United", "International Doll Art" and the "Kansas City Doll Fair".

Elizabeth Jenkins

Elizabeth was awarded entry to ODACA in 2001. In 2003, she created ODACA's Luncheon Souvenir Doll, "Marie Laveau". She also designed the 2001 Souvenir Doll for the International Doll Maker's Association National Convention entitled "Kansas City Jazz".

Her doll figures have been featured at Images Art Gallery in Kansas City, The Muchnik Gallery in Atchison, The St. Joseph Museum and Albrecht-Kemper Museum of St. Joseph, MO.
