Ruth Arden's one-of-a-kind dolls are all of Super Sculpey® and given her own special finish that gives them a translucent, flesh-like look. Most of her dolls have cloth bodies with wire armature. Ruth has created fashion ladies and a series of angels; also protrait dolls. She believes that in portraits it is important to bring forth the essence of the model, the personality, rather than a frozen replica - always loking for the spirit within.
